Tottenham captain Harry Kane could consider leaving the club.
Spurs’ recent bad performance proves that not everything is well at the club. They lost the Carabao Cup game to Colchester and were defeated with 7-2 by Bayern Munich in Champions League tournament.
During this summer transfer Spurs’ midfield, Christian Eriksen revealed he wanted to leave and probably will do so for free next summer as his contract expires.
According to The Times Lilywhites’ vice-captain and talisman Harry Kane might be looking to depart from the club.
Reportedly, Kane is frustrated with Tottenham’s latest performances and it has been really hurtful for him. His future will be even more unsure if Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino leaves as well.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand lately urged Kane to be more ambitious by leaving his team in order to win trophies:
“What are you (Kane) in the game for? Are you in the game to be a one-club man or to win trophies? Do Spurs look like a team capable of winning trophies?” he said.
Besides Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld also have their contracts expire this summer, unlike Kane who has a contract with Spurs till 2024.
