Harry Kane has praised Jack Grealish and said the Aston Villa skipper’s ability stood out during their very first England training session together.
The Tottenham star's comments come amid speculation linking both players with summer moves to Manchester City. Reports claim City have made Grealish and Kane their top summer transfer targets.
And while speaking to Gary Neville on the
Overlap YouTube channel, Kane said:
“Fantastic player, I love Jack. I love Jack as a player. From when he came in and I started training with Jack, we just had a really good connection.
“He sees the game the way I think a lot how I see the game, in terms of how he passes and how he moves. Always looking forward, always wrapping balls in and trusting your team-mates to be able to have the (right) touch and handle it.”
Kane added:
“I think he’s a real player and one who is going to be very special for the future.”
With Grealish valued at around £100million and Kane likely to be worth more, City face the prospect of breaking their transfer record twice in one summer.
