Harry Redknapp suggests English ace can become new Luka Modric for Tottenham

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish could be Tottenham's newest version of Luka Modric, if he joined the club this summer. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Villa after he has had a hand in 17 goals, scoring nine and creating eight this season. Spurs had made a £25million bid in 2018 for Grealish, but it was rejected by the club. Redknapp has urged Spurs to sign the playmaker regardless of his price tag, suggesting he can be the next version of Modric. “Yeah Grealish for sure, that is what they lack,” Redknapp said, when asked by Jamie O’Hara if Spurs should sign Grealish. ”We had Luka [Modric] in there, Pochettino had Eriksen, people like that can make them play – people that can make them tick.
