Arsenal star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has hit out at pundits who have criticised Arsenal’s start to the season.
Club legends such as Ian Wright, Martin Keown and Paul Merson have all stuck the knife in after the Gunners endured defeats in both of their opening matches.
The Armenian international thinks the criticism is uncalled for and refuses to listen to their gripes.
He told the BBC: "I don’t know why people are criticising so much the players. Most of them have been players as well and they had bad games and good games. I don’t know if they’ve been criticised and now they’re criticising us.
“I know myself if I’ve played bad I'm the worst critic in my football game and I don't need extra criticism.
"I know very well what I am giving to the team and what the team gives me.
“I don’t pay too much attention.”
