Paul Robinson has praised Nikola Vlasic after West Ham took a victory against Leeds United and progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The Hammers faced Leeds on Sunday and won with a score of 2-0 as Manuel Lanzini and Jarrod Bowen managed to strike.
Vlasic as well showed an impressive performance, having completed 91% of his passes and won 8 duels (
SofaScore).
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former England goalkeepers said the 24-year-old’s game at the London Stadium was 'his best in a West Ham shirt.'
“That was his best performance in a West Ham shirt. We are starting to see the player that he is." Robinson stated.
“He was struggling early on but players take time to settle into the Premier League. The pace of the league is different to most others.
“I think the last two or three times that we’ve see him we’ve seen a little bit more each time. Slowly he is getting to the level we expected from a Croatia international.
“I was impressed yesterday. He cause Leeds a lot of problems.”
The Croatian midfielder joined the Irons from CSKA Moscow in the summer.
He has scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in his 18 appearances this season.
