Glenn Hoddle believes the first goal in this weekend’s Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City will be deciding part of the game. Manchester City are looking to add to their Premier League and Carabao Cup triumphs this season. Meanwhile, the Blues are aiming for a first trophy under Thomas Tuchel - who was appointed in January to replace Frank Lampard. Making his prediction, Hoddle said via (The Mirror) : “Chelsea are a very good side when they go 1-0 up. The first goal has never been more important than it will be in the Champions League final. Chelsea have problems when they go behind. If Chelsea go ahead they can win this game.”
