Arsenal have been linked with a move for Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey. The 20-year-old plays as a right-back for Brighton. He has overall made 11 appearances in this season in which he has scored one goal and provided 3 assists.
He has been limited of playing time, as he has suffered a hamstring injury and has been out since December.
Lamptey is being viewed as a replacement for Hector Bellerin, as he has been linked with a move back to Barcelona. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have set their sights on Lamptey.
“For sure, next summer, can happen something big for him," Romano said on the
Here We Go Podcast.
“Arsenal are looking at him as possible option at right-back. Keep an eye on Arsenal because they are among the clubs interested in Lamptey.”
