Lille forward Victor Osimhen is reportedly keen to join a Premier League club this summer. The 21-year-old has been in an impressive form he scored 18 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs, including Liverpool, are believed to be interested in signing the Nigeria international. According to The Nation, Osimhen has already turned down advances from the likes of Inter Milan as he favours a move to a Premier League club.
Osimhen is good friends with Manchester United striker and fellow countryman Odio Ighalo. Ighalo backs him to go all the way to the top.
Speaking to TalkSport in April, Ighalo said: “Osimhen is a nice boy, we’re from the same place. I love him, he’s down to earth, he’s hard working, he has a future and he has the mentality of a winner, that’s what I love about him. He has that lion’s heart. I love him, I just want him to keep working hard the way he’s doing, he’s going to break so many records in Europe and Nigeria.”
A €60m fee has been quoted in reports, while his deal with Lille expires in 2024.
Osimhen could be on his way to Liverpool in the summer but how Liverpool could line up with the player?
