Manchester City are set to make a small profit despite being hit with a €10million fine after their Champions League ban was overturned.
Pep Guardiola's side were facing a two-year ban from all European competitions before the ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Monday.
City will now be allowed to play in the Champions League next season, much to the relief of the club and it's supporters. They were also facing a €30million fine, but CAS confirmed that this has now been reduced to just €10m.
Every club that qualifies for the Champions League group stages receives €15m. Guardiola's Manchester City have already qualified for the Champions League next season due to their position in the Premier League, meaning they're set to make a profit €5m despite their fine.
City discovered their fate on Monday.
