How Manchester United could line-up with Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and Kalidou Koulibaly
Manchester United are looking for bringing fresh players during the next transfer window, with the club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer willing to improve the squad.
One thing that plays a huge role is money. The latter would not be a problem for the Red Devils.
After being appointed as the team manager, Solskjaer changed the transfer policy of the club. He attempted to make shrewd signings like Daniel James' £18million move from Swansea. He also included more youngsters like Brandon Williams in the first team. However, since now the most vital transfer target is considered to be Bruno Fernandes, who joined the Red Devils during the January transfer window.
Speaking about midfielder, Emmanuel Petit said: "In the space of two months he is the best buy in the winter market. He has made such a big impact. It's like he's been at the club for six years. He's changed the mentality inside the dressing room. It's hard for a player to come in mid-season and do that."
Now, as United chief Ed Woodward has accepted more money will be invested for the summer, Solskjaer has the opportunity to sign players like Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and Kalidou Koulibaly.
It would be difficult to suggest that all of them will move to Old Trafford. However, Paul Pogba's possible transfer will raise the club funds and the opportunity of more additions to the squad.
Here is how Manchester United first team could line up next season: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Koulibaly, Maguire, Shaw, Williams, Fred, Pogba, Grealish, Sancho, Rashford
De Gea is still the first choice goalkeeper of the Red Devils in spite of his form, that hasn't been the best this season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams will fill the left and right wings, after proving they're worth to be in the first team.
In defence, Solskjaer is likely to pick Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, with Koulibaly possible to replace the Swede.
Fred is likely to keep his place in the midfield, after his brilliant performance this term. Ahead of him United will need some quality that will be secured by the presence of Grealish. Meanwhile, Fernandes would line up alongside him for creating goalscoring chances. This lining up could mean Pogba is out of the first team.
Marcus Rashford would be capable of playing out left or down the middle, with Sancho partnering with him in the front.
