How much money will Manchester City earn by winning Champions League this season

Manchester City remain one of the favorite teams to lift the Champions League trophy this season. 

Pep Guardiola's side celebrated a confident win over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the quarter-finals and played a tense 1 - 1 draw with the Bundesliga giants in the second leg. As a result, they advanced to the semi-finals of the European top tier on aggregate 4 - 1. 

According to sports journalist Martin Lipton, the Citizens have already earned a total of £89.9M in the Champions League so far this campaign by beating their opponents in the group stage, Round of 16 and quarter-finals. They would earn a further £9.6M in case of reaching the final of the tournament. 

City's greatest hope of this term remains to lift the Champions League title, while it will eventually see them earning another £17.6M.
