Tottenham signed Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon last summer and broke their transfer record. But thing have not worked out with question marks over his fitness and new head coach Jose Mourinho publicly criticising him.
Ndombele has been linked with a move away from Spurs. Barcelona and Liverpool have been linked with a move.
Reports suggested that Tottenham spent £63million to sign him, with £54million as the initial figure, rising to £63million with add-ons. However, that figure does not appear to be correct.
Lyon have announced their financial results for the first nine months of the 2019/20 campaign. And in their press release, Lyon say that Ndombele was one of the principal transfers that brought in money, with the Frenchman moving to Spurs for €47.6million. That figure equates to around £42million.
