Huge update on Grealish’s Tottenham future

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has provided an update on Tottenham’s bid for Jack Grealish. Grealish is wanted by Spurs but Villa are determined to keep hold of him. Tottenham have made an opening £20million offer for 21-year-old Grealish but Bruce insists they are “nowhere near” Villa’s valuation. “We don’t want to lose our best players, but they’re aware of course that everyone has their price," Bruce said. "The best thing the owners have been able to do is not to let anybody go on the cheap. “So if someone wants to buy our players, they are going to have to find a premium and make sure the owners are comfortable with it. “We all know what football is, but at the moment Spurs haven’t got anywhere near what the owners want to consider. So there is not a discussion to be had at the moment, because they’ve got nowhere near the figure they demanded.”
