'I am pretty confident': Chris Sutton makes prediction for West Brom v Wolves FA Cup clash

Wolverhampton Wanderers will face West Bromwich Albion in a bid to secure a spot in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday, January 28.

Gary O'Neill's team played to a goalless draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League earlier this week. Their FA Cup journey saw them draw 1-1 against Brentford in the third round, ultimately winning the replay 3-2 at home after extra time.

On the other hand, the Championship side recently suffered a 2-0 defeat against Norwich City in the Championship. In the Cup's third round, they triumphed over fifth-tier Aldershot Town with a similar 2-0 scoreline.

Furthermore, ahead of the Midlands derby, BBC pundit Chris Sutton dropped his prediction for the clash. According to the former football player, the meeting will end in the Premier League team's narrow 0 - 1 victory.

"This local derby is always a big occasion and it should be a great game too. I watched West Brom lose at Norwich at the weekend, but they were a bit unlucky actually because they dominated possession.

Wolves are on a nice run of form in the league, and I think their manager Gary O'Neil will fancy a bit of a cup run. I can see the scoreline being close, but I am pretty confident they will beat the Baggies." Sutton stated in his BBC column.
