"I asked": Alasdair Gold provides injury update on Oliver Skipp ahead of Wolves clash

Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has provided an injury update on Tottenham's Oliver Skipp ahead of the club's Premeir League match against Wolves. The 21-year-old has been out of action since the Spurs' return from a short break after suffering a groin strain. “It’s a funny one, he [Skipp] had a groin injury, which I then think he got a bit of an infection during the rehab, and it’s kind of complicated it slightly, but he’s almost back," Gold said on the Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast when dicussing the latest injury news. “I asked about Skippy and he [Conte] was like, he kind of admitted he’s pushing the medical department to try and get him back sooner than the two weeks they’ve said. He’s like, I want it to be a maximum of 7-10 days because he’s an important player for me,” the journalist added.
