Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has provided an injury update on Tottenham's Oliver Skipp ahead of the club's Premeir League match against Wolves.
The 21-year-old has been out of action since the Spurs' return from a short break after suffering a groin strain.
“It’s a funny one, he [Skipp] had a groin injury, which I then think he got a bit of an infection during the rehab, and it’s kind of complicated it slightly, but he’s almost back," Gold said on the
Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast when dicussing the latest injury news.
“I asked about Skippy and he [Conte] was like, he kind of admitted he’s pushing the medical department to try and get him back sooner than the two weeks they’ve said. He’s like, I want it to be a maximum of 7-10 days because he’s an important player for me,” the journalist added.
