'I categorically deny' - Agent says there's no way his client will join Spurs this month

Jordan Veretout's agent has confirmed there's no way the player could join Tottenham Hotspur this month. Over the last few days, the AS Roma midfielder has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Spurs said to be keen on him. And earlier this week Gianluca di Marzio has claimed that the Giallorossi would love a Tanguy Ndombele-Veretout swap deal. However, speaking to CalcioMercato, agent Mario Giuffredi has stated that the Frenchman won't move to North London this month.

“A swap Ndombélé-Veretout? I categorically deny. He will stay at Roma at least until the end of the season.” he said.
