Rio Ferdinand has once again urged Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho, dismissing the concerns that he will disrupt the club's front-free.
The England international has been heavily linked with the Red Devils, while the club haven't met Borussia Dortmund's deadline of Monday to sign the winger. After his trip to London, Sancho returned to Germany to continue his training with the BVB squad.
With United still struggling to agree on transfer fee, some pundits urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side to go for other options, including Tottenham's Harry Kane. However, Ferdinand believes Sancho is the right person to join the club.
Being asked who he would like to see United sign this summer on BT Sport’s Club 2020 Daily show, former Red Devils man said:
"I think it’s the same player on everyone’s lips: Jadon Sancho. A bit of flair."
Ferdinand also reacted to the concerns that United already have a number of options in front position, saying:
"I don’t care!
You can’t ever have enough of them.
Man United back in the day, you always remember four strikers battling it out to play their role at any given part of the season. You need that."
