Crystal Palace are set to welcome Everton at Selhurst Park in the Premier League, on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of the clash, Paul Merson has stated his prediction for the weekend match.
Merson has admitted both teams are currently 'average' and hard to capture victories.
“Crystal Palace are in a situation where they’re playing well but can’t seem to win a game at the moment.
"They keep playing well and losing – that worries me, because when they do start playing badly, they’ll definitely lose," he said about Palace.
Speaking about the Toffees, the pundit believes Rafa Benitez' side will 'not be able to defeat' the Eagles.
“Injuries have been a massive concern for Everton in the Premier League.
"[Dominic] Calvert-Lewin is a big miss for them, and I’d make a little bit of an excuse for them because he does improve Everton. They’ll be a different team when he’s back, but will they be able to keep him?
“I don’t think Everton are very good at the moment. They were very fortunate to win the Arsenal game, and I don’t think they’ll be able to defeat Crystal Palace this weekend.”
Merson’s prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Everton
