"I don’t think so"- Pundit gives updates on report claiming Liverpool target Ousmane Dembele

Pundit Guillem Balague has denied the reports suggesting that Liverpool are targeting Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele. As Sport claimed Jurgen Klopp's side are keen on signing the Frenchman and are prepared to pay £81 million for the winger. However, Balague has claimed that despite Dembele fitting the profile of player that Liverpool are searching for, a move to Anfield is not on the cards. The Reds are seemingly concerned by Dembele’s injury record, and consider the deal too expensive now. “People are suggesting in the media that Dembele is wanted by Liverpool, but I don’t think so,” Balague said. “They are very aware of his injuries and it’s a risk to take for Liverpool even though, of course, Klopp would like that kind of player.” Dembele has struggled with injuries at Barcelona, and has barely played any football over the past two years. Even though, the 22-year-old is still considered as a such exciting talent, and may make a move to Anfield as Klopp looks to reinforce his side’s front-line. Source- HITC
