Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Irons' boss has told he may need to make a call to the Premier League for help at some stage.
“Look I think we’ve been going through this for a while now,” Moyes said. “We all know that it’s a difficult period. All the football clubs have Covid and yeah I think sometimes we need to know exactly what the numbers would be. “But I’m guessing why you’re asking is because you really want to know what the numbers are and who is out because it would make the life of you people much easier to understand (it). “But the Premier League are the people who have that and we have to trust that they’re doing things correctly. “They deem one of the teams have got Covid and they have to go with that. We’ve had a situation, only once in the Norwich game which was called off earlier in the season, but it could happen to us. “So you know I might need to call the Premier League one day and say ‘We don’t have enough players and we’re struggling to get a team out’. "So if somebody else has got it, we have to believe the Premier League are doing the right things and proving that all the numbers are correct.”
