Ian Wright has hailed Mason Mount for making the most of the opportunity presented to him at Chelsea under manager Frank Lampard.
Chelsea have been accused of not giving enough chances to their young stars in recent years, but seem to have put that behind them with the likes of Reece James, Fikayo Tomori, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham all featuring for the first team.
Wright thinks it's Mason Mount who deserves the plaudits.
Speaking about the Brighton win on Match Of The Day, he said: "
He( Mason Mount) has taken the opportunity and Frank has shown a lot of faith in him. Jorginho should also get a mention today as Chelsea created a lot of chances. Mason Mount is someone who makes a lot of difference, especially in the attacking areas of the field with his pace and power.
"He takes people on and he is always trying to create something. He closes down as well and goes in at pace. With the penalty he just sniffed it out. The defender had a nightmare but he was there to earn it. Jorginho took a brilliant penalty. Chelsea controlled it from start to finish but they just need to be more clinical."
