Ian Wright says the way Tottenham are currently stopping teams from playing and committing tactical fouls is similar to what Manchester City used to do in a couple of years ago.
Spurs are enjoying the current season, sitting in 2nd place of the Premier League table, while they are set to face Pep Guardiola's side at the weekend.
Ahead of the clash, Wright has shared his impressions, concerning the Lilywhites latest form.
He said on
the Wrighty’s House podcast:
“Defensively with Hojbjerg, the amount of things that he’s stopping.
“The amount of fouls that Spurs are committing now. They’re doing that stuff that City used to do, making fouls and stopping teams from playing.
“The chances that they are creating, most chances created in the league, the most goals from open play in the league, shots on target, the most in the league.”
