Ian Wright is expecting Liverpool to beat Manchester City when the two sides meet in the Premier League on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp's side are currently 5 points ahead of Pep Guardiola's side. However, in their title defence season, the Reds have been struggling with injuries as Virgil van Dijk is currently sidelined with an ACL injury. Fabinho and Joel Matip have also suffered injuries and are currently unavailable.
"Yes, losing Van Dijk is going to cause you a problem, and Fabinho," Wright said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.
"But we’re still talking about a Liverpool team that with everything that’s happened, they’ve still found their way back to top.
"Because going forward, you look at the form of Jota, they’re still for me the best team in the league.
"I expect them [Liverpool] to beat them [City] because I feel like they’ve got themselves and their minds back in what they need to do."
