Rangers star Ianis Hagi says that he’s ‘really happy’ at the Gers amid reported transfer interest from RB Leipzig. Hagi made his loan permanent at the Gers in May. During this season the 22-year-old has made 28 appearances in which he has scored 4 goals and provided 10 assists.
Romanian outlet
DigiSport reported earlier this month that RB Leipzig have shown an interest in Hagi.
“I think it’s a positive season so far for me, on the pitch and off the pitch also,” said Hagi prior to Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Motherwell via
Sky Sports. “I obviously came here with the mindset of winning trophies, so by winning the trophies and also doing individually really well then I’ll just see where I am.
“Obviously, I’m happy where I am, it’s a really good environment to grow in as a young player. The mentality that is here is just what I wanted since I was a kid. I wanted to be at a club where they demand every single day to win, to get better and to win trophies.
“So, it suits my mentality, and as I said, I’m really happy.”
