Jesse Lingard didn't make the cut of England's squad for the EURO 2020 and is watching the tournament as a fan. Lingard wore Declan Rice's shirt ahead of England's first game with Croatia, which ended in the Three Lions 1-0 win.
And ahead of England's clash with Scotland on Friday, Lingard got Manchester United fans excited as he wore Marcus Rashford shirt. Gareth Southgate's side played a goalless draw with Scotland and are currently sharing the same amount of points with Czech Republic in Group D.
Here is what the fans have been saying:
Lingard spent half of the 2020/2021 season on loan at West Ham. He made 16 appearances in which he scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists.
The 28-year-old is currently back to Manchester United, however, it is yet unknown where he will play in the future.
