Olivier Giroud could still stay at Chelsea beyond this season, according to Italian football agent Vincenzo Morabito.
Giroud's contract expires at the end of the season and the player is expected to leave the club.
The France World Cup winner has been linked with Inter Milan.
Lazio and Tottenham Hotspur were also reportedly interested in the former Arsenal striker in January.
Morabito is an agent, based in Italy and he believes the Chelsea forward could stay put at the Bridge.
“[Olivier] Giroud was an opportunity in January but now, given that the championships could also be played in June and July, he could decide to stay at Chelsea for another year,” Morabito said to Calciomercato.it.
“However, everything is still uncertain, given the general situation which, in my opinion, may have cleared up in a few weeks, between the end of April and the beginning of May the picture could be more complete.”
