James Pearce has provided a transfer update on Liverpool's Nat Phillips, claiming the Reds are open to offers for the defender this summer.
According to the journalist, a number of clubs are interested in the 24-year-old, however, Liverpool are yet to receive any “suitable offers” for the player.
“I was told that Liverpool are still open to offers for Nat Phillips," Pearce told
The Red Agenda podcast (as quoted by
Inside Futbol).
“Of course, with [Ibrahima] Konate [recently signing], they’ve got four elite centre-backs there, they’ve also got Rhys Williams as a fifth option at the moment.
“There’s been loads of interest in Nat Phillips, but no suitable offers on the table as of yet, but I think I’d expect that to change the closer we get to the deadline.”
