Jamie Carragher believes that Manchester United’s draw with Arsenal has handed Chelsea the advantage in their pursuit of a top-four spot.
The Liverpool legend reckons Frank Lampard’s Blues will be encouraged by the fact that their top-four rivals continue to underwhelm in the top fight.
“The one team looking at that tonight who will be encouraged is Chelsea," he told Sky Sports.
"At the start of the season, I thought Chelsea might struggle to get into the top-four. It will still be a fight but even in these early stages, they have more quality than what we have seen from these two teams.”
Liverpool continue leading the Premier League table, Manchester City are second, Leicester City are third and Arsenal finishes the top-four.
Chelsea are in the seventh place, while Manchester United is tenth.
