Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp thinks Mauricio Pochettino may attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in case of becoming the new manager of Chelsea.
The Blues board has reportedly shown interest in the 29-year-old England international, and there are rumors that Pochettino is close to being appointed as the club's new boss, as per the Daily Mail.
The Argentine manager has previously worked with Kane during his spell at Tottenham and could consider him a potential option to bring the Blues' long-awaited new number 9.
“If Pochettino were to go there, the first player he is going to want is obviously someone like Harry Kane," Redknapp said on Sky Sports Premier League as he was discussing the manager's possible appointment.
Harry Kane is considered one of the top strikers globally, and numerous elite clubs are likely interested in acquiring him during the summer transfer window. Chelsea are among the clubs interested in his services, however, the bitter rivalry between the two London clubs could be a key factor in negotiations.
