Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is fit to face Aston Villa in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
The Foxes star has missed the club’s last three games in all competitions, as he was handed a rest against West Ham following the birth of his daughter, before a calf issue ruled him out of the victories over Newcastle and Wigan.
However, at his pre-match press conference, head coach Brendan Rodgers confirmed that Vardy is “fine” to face Aston Villa.
Rodgers also handed an update on centre-backs Wes Morgan (groin) and Filip Benkovic (knee), who were substituted with injuries against Wigan.
“Wes was injured in our last game and he will probably miss the next couple of games,” said Rodgers.
“Filip was precautionary, so he should return to training in a couple of days," he added.
