Joe Gomez could be ruled out up to four weeks

Joe Gomez who was set to play for England against Italy, picked up ankle injury. Now Liverpool fear Gomez could also be out of their Champions League clash against Manchester City. The player was sent back to Melwood for treatment on the injury he sustained in the 10^th minute of Friday’s friendly against Holland which England won 1-0. There are fears that Gomez could be ruled out for up to four weeks, which would leave him sidelined for both legs of the quarter-final against Manchester City as well as his side’s derby against Everton.
