Jose Mourinho admits "fantastic" player may not be at Tottenham next season

Jose Mourinho has admitted that Gareth Bale may not be at Tottenham next season. The Wales international has joined Spurs on loan from Real Madrid last summer, while he could return to the Spanish side during the summer transfer window. Mourinho has shared his praise for the 31-year-old, however, adding, that the attacker's future in Tottenham is in hands of Los Blancos. He told SoccerAM: “We are all happy with Gareth and I believe that everyone like you that loves football even if not Tottenham is happy because he is a fantastic player. “Everybody was missing for a couple of years because in the last couple of years it was not good for him at Real.” Then he added: “It’s not about us giving him a contract. He is a Real Madrid player. He has a contract with Real Madrid. He is in Real Madrid’s hands.”
