Jose Mourinho has issued a humbling apology over his public fitness session.
Tottenham boss was pictured out in public along with Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez and Ryan Sessegnon.
Mourinho is understood to have been spoken to by the club as the hierarchy was unimpressed.
Mourinho said: “
I accept that my actions were not in line with government protocol and we must only have contact with members of our own household. It is vital we all play our part and follow government advice in order to support our heroes in the NHS and save lives.”
According to the Mirror, Mourinho offered to do some work with Ndombele to help the Spurs midfielder during the lockdown.
A Tottenham Hotspur spokesperson said: “
All of our players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors.”
