Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has made transfer decision on Inter Milan centre-back Diego Godin amid Manchester United interest.
The 34-year-old was previously linked with the move to Old Trafford when Mourinho was in charge of the Red Devils. However, the deal didn't materialise.
Now the Portuguese manager wants to improve the squad, with Jan Vertonghen out of contract in the summer, while Toby Alderweireld 12 months later. And Spurs were said to be interested in the Uruguayan veteran along with United.
Godin has one year left in his contract with Inter. Though the Serie A club haven't set a transfer fee on the player, he is thought to be an affordable option for both Premier League sides.
However, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Mourinho's side have "cooled down" their interest.
