Jose Mourinho has responded to transfer speculation, linking the club with Trabzonspor striker Alexander Sorloth for the summer transfer window.
The Norwegian forward has been linked with the move to North London after Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has revealed the club are in talks with the Lilywhites.
Meanwhile, Mourinho refused to be drawn on speculation, when speaking about the striker.
He told
Football.London:
“Well I’m not going to discuss Sorloth. If the president of Trabzonspor told that I’m not going to say that it’s not true. I think Sortloth is Trabzonspor player and it’s not for me to speak about.
“Do we need a striker? Yes we need. Was it because of that we lost the game? No. We didn’t lose the game because we need a striker. We lost the game and the responsibility of that defeat is my responsibility.”
