Jose Mourinho has revealed Tottenham's plans for Jack Grealish, admitting that they don't need the Aston Villa keepers as for now.
The England international was a transfer target for Spurs in 2018 while Villa were in the Championship but a deal was never agreed.
There continues to be consistent transfer speculation about Grealish’s future but Mourinho admits that ship has probably sailed for Spurs.
“I’m not going in that direction,” he told Sky Sports
(via HITC) before his side won 2-0 at Villa Park on Sunday.
“I don’t know what happened in the past. I believe that the future - if the future is going to be leaving Villa one day, because maybe he doesn’t - I don’t think it will be with us.”
Grealish signed a new five-year contract in September after being linked with a number of clubs in the summer transfer window.
