Jose Mourinho says Tottenham star actually had injury problem in the warm-up, but played anyway

Jose Mourinho has revealed Tottenham star Serge Aurier actually had an injury problem in the warm-up yesterday. The right-back was close to being benched after he seemed to pick up an issue in the warm-up. But, thankfully, none of the players faced injury issues during the North London derby as Spurs beat Arsenal 2 - 0 at the weekend. “Hugo was a doubt. What happened to Partey could have happened to Toby. Harry a doubt, Reguilon. Aurier in the warm-up as well,” Mourinho told Football London. “We almost changed the bench to have a right-back on there. Then this morning we decided that Tanguy couldn’t play but Gio came in and did very well.”
