Journalist confirms Tottenham ace nearing exit as direct club-to-club talks seal agreement

Tottenham's Eric Dier is reportedly nearing a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich, with discussions underway between the two clubs, as per the latest from Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.

While an official bid is yet to be submitted, there seems to be a general understanding in the talks. According to the journalist the Englishman's potential move could involve a fee of around €4 million, with a short-term contract and an option to extend it until 2026.

Importantly, Plettenberg clarified that the Bundesliga giants are not attempting to interfere with the North Londones' pursuit of Radu Dragusin from Genoa.

Having served Tottenham well, the 29-year-old now seems ready for a new chapter, considering his limited involvement under Ange Postecoglou, as the prospect of playing 90 minutes regularly appears to have dwindled.

However, a potential move to Munich might position the England international more as a backup option rather than a central, long-term figure in the squad.
