Manchester United are "optimistic" about signing Raphaël Varane this summer, according to sports journalist Fredrik A. Filtvedt.
Real Madrid man has been heavily linked with the move to Old Trafford, with the club eager to land him following the transfer of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
