Jurgen Klopp has claimed Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams were nervous in the opening minutes of Liverpool's 4-2 win against Manchester United.
The Reds boss has said that the passing of Liverpool central defenders Williams and Phillips in the beginning of the Premier League game at Old Trafford was not great.
After the initial period, the 20-year-old and the 24-year-old grew into the game, which the Reds won 4-2, with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all scoring for their side.
Klopp said on
Premier League Productions:
“We saw that our two centre-halves might be a little bit shaking in the beginning of the game, we could see that with the passing, but in the moment when we were in the game, they forgot everything around them and played a really good game.”
