Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Joel Matip is not fit to feature in Liverpool's upcoming match against Napoli.
The Reds are going to face the Italian side in that Champions League group stage on November 1, 2022.
Ahead of the game, Klopp has met the media to provide the latest team news.
The German has now admitted that Matip won't be available. Meanwhile, Ibrahima Konate could is back and could be part of the Reds' starting XI.
"It's very good to have him back. He's ready for the squad now. He trained yesterday completely normal. He's had eight or nine days. That's obviously very good. He is an option," Klopp said, via Liverpool Echo.
