Jurgen Klopp could be given a MASSIVE boost for Atletico match as PL are yet to decide the schedule on February
Liverpool could have a week to rest and prepare for the first leg against Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 of the Champions League. Merseyside club will visit Wanda Metropolitano stadium on February 18 for the first leg against La Liga side. Meanwhile, Premier League are discussing how to distribute the winter break between the 20 teams. For the first time, Premier League clubs will be given a week of rest in February. Half of the teams will be given a weekend off one week, while the other half will rest the following weekend. If Liverpool faces Norwich City on February 8/9, Reds will be given a week to prepare for Atletico Madrid match. Meanwhile, PL is yet to reschedule the match between Liverpool and West Ham United as Jurgen Klopp’s side is currently in Qatar preparing for Club World Cup semi-finals against Monterrey.
