Jurgen Klopp gives advice to his team after 3-0 win over Leicester City

Liverpool established their seventh consecutive win in a clash with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last night. The Premier League neighbors have a difference of just a point between them. While Klopp's side is at 65 points currently, their top four rivals, Manchester United and Leicester City, have 66 points each.

"Six, seven weeks ago, I didn't believe it can happen," said Klopp on Liverpool's top-four chances via N Football. "What we lacked that time was obviously consistency and there was only one chance for us to get in these situations – winning pretty much all the football games, and that's what we had to do, it's crazy. But that's the situation we were in. That's good".

If the Reds are to secure a spot in the Champions League next season, they will have to maintain a thriving performance in their last two matches and hope for their competitors' downfall. Liverpool's remaining fixtures are against Aston Villa on May 20, when the latter will travel to Anfield Stadium and the last match will be against Southampton on May 28, at St. Mary's Stadium.

"All the rest is not in our own hands but we know we have to win all the games until the end of the season to have a chance. I said it now a couple of times, yes probably Newcastle and United are not watching us, are confident – that's all fine. "But we were in similar situations and you wish anyway that the opponent was just losing and you have that kind of pressure off your shoulder. Our job is to keep the pressure. But again, it's not likely,"  concluded the German manager.

At the King Power Stadium, the 55-year-old head coach was particularly pleased by the performance of Curtis Jones, saluting the 22-year-old for major improvement after a set of injury setbacks. The young star earned a brace in the first half of the game, scoring the goals in a split difference of 3 minutes from each other.
