Jurgen Klopp has spoken out on Ralph Hasenhuttl following Southampton sacking.
Liverpool are preparing to face the Saints in the last league game before the World Cup 2022 kicks off on Saturday, November 12.
World Cup starts on November 20 with the final being scheduled for December 18.
Southampton parted ways with Hasenhuttl on Tuesday and have appointed Nathan Jones on a three-and-a-half year contract.
"I though Hasenhuttl did an exceptional job [at Southampton]," said Klopp during a press conference ahead of Saturday's game.
"If they showed anything it was attitude, they were highly motivated. We always expect a motivated opponent but there's not a lot of time [for Jones] to change a lot. We have analysed them half Saints/Luton."
The Reds are currently 8th in the league table with 19 points, meanwhile, the Saints are 18th.
