Jurgen Klopp identifies two English defenders he wants to sign

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has prioritized strengthening his squad ahead of next season. Liverpool are currently eyeing Newcastle skipper Lascelles and Burnley’s Tarkowski as two centre-backs who could aid his squad. Both of the players would be available for not less than £25 million. Former Brentford defender Tarkowski 25, signed a £40.000-a-week deal until 2022 in January. And Lascelles, 24, committed his future until 2023 at Newcastle in October. However, reports claim that Liverpool would only attempt to sign one of the two Englishman despite the backline’s ropy start to the season.
