Yesterday night Liverpool beat 2-0 Wolverhampton and made the unbeaten run longer. Currently the Reds have earned 48 points after 18 games and are leading the league, while second placed Manchester City has earned 44 points after 17 games.
Although Liverpool will be the league leaders until Christmas, but Jurgen Klopp says that Manchester City are still favorites for Premier League title.
“So far it looks like a real special season. It is up there, to have 48 points mid-December is just crazy," said Klopp.
“We know we are good and are in a good moment. But we have to respect the others are good as well and we know we cannot start the party or plan a party for the summer now.
“For the moment it is really nice and now we have to make sure we get fresh legs as quickly as possible. Other teams such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal are all winning as well.
“That is the season, no-one from the top five really drops points and at the end of the season you probably need 105 or so to be champions.”
