Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed he had private talks with both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane separately after the pair had an argument during Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Burnley in August.
Mane was clearly irked at an incident prior to his substitution where Salah had elected to try and shift the ball onto his unfavoured right foot for a shot when the No.10 was unmarked and ready for a simple tap-in.
Rumours suggested that the two had fallen out over the incident.
Speaking to
Sports Illustrated, Klopp said he simply spoke to the pair.
"In the world of football, it looks so big; it's like 'Oh, my god, how can you do it?'" Klopp said. "But I just spoke to them."
