Jurgen Klopp has given an update on the injury of Mohamed Salah, who got subbed off at 64th minute in
Liverpool’s 2-0 win at Brighton, being replaced by Diogo Jota.
Salah scored his 20th Premier League goal of the season doubling his team's advantage after Luis Diaz’s opener.
Speaking to BT Sport (
via Liverpool Fc) during his post-match interview, the German manager stated:
“We will see.
"He thinks it’s not serious but you can see when Mo Salah is sitting down then something is not 100 per cent right.
"I think it was the situation before when he hit the ball and got blocked – he wanted to shoot and got blocked and I think the foot got slightly overstretched. We have to see.” Klopp claimed.
The Reds are at the 2nd place with 3 points behind league leaders Manchester City, who are set to play on Monday night.
