Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has mentioned Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson as possible Fabinho replacements in his press conference ahead of upcoming clash with Brighton on Saturday.
Fabinho sustained ankle ligament injury during 1-1 draw with Napoli on Wednesday and will miss six to eight weeks as the club confirmed.
When asked about replacements he said:
“The three players I've mentioned have played there. They bring a different quality. Gini was brilliant against Napoli. Hendo has played there really, really good. We just have to make it work. (Fabinho) couldn't have played all the games until March anyway. We have to do the right thing for Fab and for the team.”
