Jurgen Klopp has spoken out on Virgil van Dijk after being included in FIFA World XI.
The Best FIFA Awards 2022 was revealed on Monday in Paris and during the ceremony the FIFA FIFPRO Men's World 11 was revealed.
Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk was included in the team along with Achraf Hakimi, Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema and other.
The team in full: Courtois - Achraf - Cancelo - Van Dijk - De Bruyne - Modric - Casemiro - Messi - Mbappe - Benzema and Haaland.
The Reds prepare to face Wolves in the Premier League on Wednesday, March 1st.
Speaking ahead of the game, during a press conference, Klopp said on Van Dijk: "It wasn't based on the last four or five performances, but on the last year and it's fully deserved. He asked if he could go and I said of course. He was back last night. It's great."
